Clean and Seal Pavers

Brick Pavers in the Chicago area are incredibly vulnerable to the harsh elements such as salt and sun. If your pavers are beginning to look worn, faded sun-bleached, and dull, then a professional paver cleaning and paver sealing job will renew the color of the surface naturally and provide a protective barrier from the sun and its damaging effects, as well as help, protect from stains, dirt, mildew and weed growth.

Sealing your pavers with a joint stabilizing sealer will help combat the weeds, as the seeds can't easily penetrate through the hardened sealed sand, thus making it difficult to grow and blowing away to the next unsuspecting unsealed surface.

Weeds in pavers almost always start from seeds being blown and deposited into the sand joint from neighboring weeds. Therefore, if you or your neighbors have a lot of weeds in the yard or landscape beds, then it's almost a guarantee that you will have weeds in your pavers.

We implement a 'wet look' at no extra cost when installing a joint stabilizer sealer. With this enhancement, your pavers have that just-rained, wet look that darkens the surface tone and keeps your pavers from appearing dull or sun-faded.

Our Process

We apply a heavy duty cleaner to remove dirt and build up on your pavers. If it's a new installation we apply efflorescence cleaner to remove any whitening in the paver.

After 24 to 48 hrs and patio has had time to dry, we apply polymeric sand to the joints.

We then apply a solvent based sealer giving you that wet look to bring out the true color of your pavers.
